Our Core Values
Our goal is to treat every patient and each other as we want to be treated. Our core values align with this philosophy:
Caring — We are a relationship-based dental practice. Nothing is more important than our relationships with each other and our patients.
Responsibility — We value the trust our patients place in our skills and abilities, and we strive to do our best in every aspect of patient care.
Education — We recognize that the best way to deliver quality care is to continually educate ourselves about the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Dr. Doug Booth, D.D.S.
Dentist
Since 1985, Dr. Doug Booth has been helping patients feel more confident about their smiles and more comfortable in the dental chair. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Lambuth College. In 1991, he opened his own practice with a simple goal: create a space where patient comfort and genuine care come first.
Dr. Booth is happiest when he sees a patient light up, especially someone who’s finally proud of their smile or no longer anxious about visiting the dentist. Whether he's easing a patient’s fears or celebrating a treatment milestone, he values every moment of connection. He also loves working with a team that shares his patient-first philosophy and makes coming to the office every day feel like second nature.
His love of science and desire to work hands-on with people drew him to dentistry. That same creativity and curiosity extend into his personal life; when he’s not at the office, you might find him fishing, playing tennis, reading, painting, or building something unique in his woodshop.
If life had taken a different path, Dr. Booth might have chased dreams of being a rock star, an NBA standout, or a bestselling author. While the stage, court, and writing desk had their appeal, he’s grateful that dentistry became his calling, and so are his patients.
Meredith
Registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant
Meredith wears two hats at Dr. Booth’s practice, both as a dental hygienist and a dental assistant, and she’s spent the last 15 years helping patients feel relaxed, comfortable, and truly cared for. She understands that the dental chair can be an intimidating place for some, so she focuses on making every visit a calm and positive experience.
Her interest in dentistry was sparked in 2001, thanks to her mother-in-law’s encouragement and her fascination with teeth. Meredith went on to complete her training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and she hasn’t looked back since.
What she loves most about her work is seeing patients feel more at ease and knowing she played a part in that transformation. She also values the strong bonds she's formed with her coworkers and patients over the years, and she finds joy in the everyday moments that make her job meaningful.
Meredith enjoys live music and arranging floral bouquets when she isn’t working. And here’s a fun fact: she shares her birthday with Elvis Presley and David Bowie!
Meredith brings heart, creativity, and a calming presence to the office, helping patients leave with healthier smiles and a little more peace of mind.
Jackie
Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant
Jackie brings decades of experience to the dental field, working as a dental hygienist and dental assistant since beginning her career in 1982. She has been a vital part of Dr. Booth’s practice since 2001, helping patients feel at ease and well cared for during every visit.
Her journey in dentistry started early, right out of high school at Huntsville High, followed by completing the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program (ADHP). After landing her first job in a dental office, she quickly realized she had found the right fit and never looked back.
Jackie has a talent for making patients feel comfortable, especially those who may be nervous about their appointments. She enjoys getting to know people, hearing their stories, and supporting them in achieving healthier, more confident smiles. She's always happy to jump in where needed and is known among her team for her reliability and positive attitude.
When she’s not in the office, Jackie enjoys spending time cooking, reading, gardening, doing yard work, and staying active with Pilates. She’s also a skilled seamstress; sewing is one of her favorite creative outlets. And if you spend enough time around her, you’ll learn one fun fact: she’s easily startled, which makes for a few laughs now and then!
Jackie’s years of hands-on experience, approachable nature, and love for helping others make her a valued member of the practice and a favorite among patients.
Ginny
Registered Dental Hygienist
Ginny is a registered dental hygienist who brings warmth and professionalism to every patient visit. Since joining Dr. Booth’s practice in 2024, she’s enjoyed building strong relationships with patients and being part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Her interest in dentistry began at a young age; she always looked forward to her dental appointments and loved the feeling of freshly cleaned teeth. That early appreciation inspired her to pursue a career where she could help others care for their smiles. Ginny received her dental hygiene training at Fortis College and began working in the field in 2017.
She values making each patient feel at ease in the chair and enjoys creating a positive experience during every visit. For her, getting to know new people and watching their confidence grow over time is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
Ginny loves exploring new places and trying new things outside the office. She also runs her own online store, which reflects her creative and entrepreneurial side.
With her patient-first mindset and genuine love for what she does, Ginny brings a thoughtful presence to her team and the people she cares for.
Alison
Dental Hygienist
Allison has been part of the dental field since 1999 and joined Dr. Booth’s practice in 2011. Over the years, she’s become a trusted and familiar face to patients who appreciate her calm approach and genuine care. She enjoys creating a positive, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care.
Her path to dental hygiene began during her own orthodontic journey as a teenager, which sparked an early interest in dentistry. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could help others care for their smiles. She went on to receive her dental hygiene education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
For Allison, one of the best parts of her job is connecting with people from all walks of life. She values the relationships she’s built with patients and teammates and finds fulfillment in being part of a supportive, professional team.
When she’s not in the office, Allison enjoys reading, painting, watching sports with her family, and spending time with her dog. Her love for painting gives her a creative outlet, and a fun fact—she has an identical twin sister!
With her thoughtful approach and strong sense of teamwork, Allison continues to be an essential part of the practice and the lives of the patients she sees.
Patricia
Administrative Coordinator
Since beginning her career in dentistry in 2015, Patricia has brought dedication, warmth, and a passion for patient care to every role she’s held. As the administrative coordinator at Doug Booth, D.D.S., she ensures the practice runs smoothly, from optimizing provider schedules and managing insurance claims to helping patients understand their treatment plans and financial options. With strong communication skills and a talent for multitasking, Patricia is the calm, friendly presence patients often meet first and remember long after their visit.
What Patricia loves most about her role is the opportunity to help people feel at ease, especially those who may be anxious about dental care. Whether it’s a warm welcome, a little humor, or simply taking the time to listen, she believes in creating a comforting and supportive experience for every patient. She also values the strong teamwork within the practice, where collaboration and encouragement are part of the everyday culture.
Outside the office, Patricia finds peace and joy outdoors, whether boating on the lake, tending her garden, or enjoying coffee on the porch with her husband. A fun fact? She spent her teen years speed skating at the local rink, where she also had her very first job at 15. That love for movement, music, and connection still lives on in her today.
Sally
Schedule/Finance Coordinator
Sally is the friendly and welcoming face that patients first see when they enter the office. As the Schedule/Finance Coordinator, she ensures that every patient is greeted with a warm smile and that the reception area remains clean and inviting. Her role involves checking patients in and out, verifying insurance information, confirming appointments, and ensuring that all patient records are accurate and up-to-date. She also presents treatment plans and helps schedule appointments, making sure that every aspect of the patient experience runs smoothly.
Sally’s journey into the dental field began in 2008. With a background in administrative work, she was allowed to fill in temporarily at a dental office, which quickly led to a permanent position. Since then, she has continued to excel in her role, bringing her organizational skills and warm personality to the practice.
One of Sally’s favorite aspects of her job is the strong sense of camaraderie within the team. She appreciates that they feel more like family than just coworkers and values the willingness everyone has to help each other.
Outside of work, Sally enjoys cooking, baking, and gardening. While not necessarily unique, she finds great joy in painting furniture, transforming old pieces into something new. A fun fact about her is that she loves country western dancing!
With her dedication to patient care, administrative expertise, and team-oriented mindset, Sally plays an essential role in keeping the practice running smoothly and ensuring that every patient has a positive experience.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere at Dr. Booth’s office is warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable—it feels more like visiting friends than a dental appointment. Dr. Booth is an outstanding dentist who combines expertise with a kind, calming presence. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and clearly cares about you as a person, not just a patient. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and informed every step of the way. I can’t recommend Dr. Booth and his team enough!
